FREELANCE
Motion Designer
Remote, Hawaiian or Pacific Standard Time preferred
We’re on the hunt for a freelance Motion Designer to help bring our client projects to life with engaging animations and video content. You’ll work directly with our lead animator to create awesome visuals for everything from ads and product marketing to social media, websites, and digital displays.
This is a freelance position, billed hourly, and you'll be brought on a project-by-project basis. It is fully remote, but applicants living in Hawaiian or Pacific Standard Time zones are preferred.
Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
Operating as a registered LLC is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:

Creating videos and animations for web, product, social, and other digital platforms.

Managing all production stages from ideation to delivery and ensuring deadlines and quality are met.

Creating concepts and storyboards while pitching fresh ideas to elevate creative briefs.

Collaborating with designers and other creatives to bring ideas to motion.
Requirements:

5+ years of applicable experience in the industry.

Expert in creative software—After Effects, Figma, Lottie, Photoshop, Illustrator. Cinema 4D is a plus.

Skilled in producing various video assets—explainer, product demos, tutorials, marketing, support, interviews, and more.

Strong portfolio examples or current reel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
