Overview: We provided Opus Creative Agency with art direction and design support to concept a conference presence for their cybersecurity client, spanning a street corner installation and an interior booth activation designed to inspire future marketing efforts.

The Ask

Opus needed concepts for both an outdoor street corner and an interior booth activation that could serve as the foundation for future campaigns and marketing materials.

The Solution

We designed a modular, tile illustration system that became the identities for both the event activation and future campaigns. The experience featured an interactive red-filter scavenger hunt, where participants uncovered hidden “bugs” within layered artwork for a chance to win prizes.

Illustrated Identity

Using their brand green, we created a 2D, cybersecurity-inspired illustration that is modular, tile-based, and allows for easy duplication and expansion.

Interactive Activation

We designed an engaging red-filter scavenger hunt game. The identity was reimagined with three-color outlines, layered to form a visually challenging composition. When players hold a red-filter card up to the design, it blocks out two of the color layers, revealing just one with hidden "bugs" to find.

Event Experience

For the conference, the patterned activation was scaled up and printed on a large wall. Guests were given red-filter hand cards, featuring the brand identity, to use like magnifying glasses and uncover hidden "bugs."

Identity in Context

The illustrated identity was developed not just for the activation, but with future marketing in mind. We created this proof-of-concept ad set to showcase how the identity could be applied across upcoming campaigns.
