Overview: We created a set of illustrations for Workiva’s platform’s GRC modernization, with half of them later brought to life through animation to highlight moments of celebration within the app’s key sections.
The Ask
As part of Workiva’s UI redesign and modernization, they wanted to bring visual interest with illustrations and animations to an environment that historically had not had any.
The Solution
Using Workiva’s brand colors, we designed a set of illustrations for onboarding and other key platform moments. Part of the set was animated to highlight the platform’s most important functional features.
“Air” illustrations
Guided by a theme of modernization, we created this “air” illustration style that feels fresh, light, and refined. Rounded corners, subtle gradients, and balanced compositions bring a friendly, professional feel that ties seamlessly to the brand and enhances key features across the app.
Onboarding Animations
We brought motion to the three main onboarding visuals, creating subtle hover animations that add moments of delight as users explore the page.
Supporting Hover Animations
We added motion to key feature moments sprinkled throughout different stages of the user journey.
